Join us at the Shepard Garden & Art Center at McKinley Park to hear recent updates on the efforts to Save Coyote Creek. We will also be holding working group breakout meetings and an advocacy crash course!
The advocacy training will be a hands-on, practical training designed to help you speak up effectively for the places, wildlife, and communities you care about.
This breakout session focuses on building real-world advocacy skills you can use immediately. Participants will learn how public input shapes conservation decisions and how to make that input count. We'll cover how to deliver clear and confident verbal public comments, write effective letters and emails to decision-makers, and use social media as a thoughtful tool for conservation advocacy.
No prior experience needed! This course is designed for anyone who cares deeply about conservation but may feel unsure about how to engage, as well as those who want to sharpen their existing advocacy skills.
